SOTOGRANDE GRAND PRIX®
Welcoming the Automobile Elite to Andalusia
Sotogrande, one of the first real estate and leisure destinations to be founded in the Andalusian Mediterranean, where the living is as glamorous as the days are easy, is gearing up to host the first SOTOGRANDE GRAND PRIX®.
Over the course of five days from Wednesday 24 May to Sunday 28 May 2017, southern Spain from Seville to Sotogrande welcomed rallies, exhibitions, sales and displays of an eclectic selection of elegant classic cars and premium marques from the past, present and future.
The Andalusian route culminated in a three-day Grand Prix festival from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 May 2017 at Sotogrande. This legendary destination became centre stage as the entire fleet of exceptional car models descended on the Marina of Sotogrande and La Reserva with a Concours d’Elegance and speed trials, amongst much, much more.
The choice of Sotogrande was inspired by its location and illustrious history. This majestic setting beneath the sun of southern Spain is the perfect backdrop to celebrate the design and display of classic and leading marque specialist cars and host an array of society events. Hosting the Grand Prix in Sotogrande further celebrates the good life for which Sotogrande has become known since it was created in 1962. Here, in the Andalusian epicentre of elegant living, tranquillity and discretion, the world’s elite come to enjoy life’s understated luxuries to the full.
Vintage car festival
During the SOTOGRANDE GRAND PRIX® renowned car collectors from all over the world will travel from Seville to Sotogrande to show their exceptional vintage motorcars, esteemed as being among the finest examples of automobile workmanship and artistry; put simply, the Picassos and Van Goghs of car design.
The SOTOGRANDE GRAND PRIX® will turn Sotogrande and its discreetly glamorous environs into the intoxicating centre of the world’s most distinctive car brands, both classic and modern from 24 to 28 May 2017.
